ABOUT US

Wellness Psychological Services is the brainchild of young psychologists who found that the biggest barrier to Ugandans seeking help on mental health is stigma and a lack of knowledge.

As a result, Wellness seeks to increase our community’s understanding of mental health especially mental health literacy and mental health help-seeking behaviour. Our hope is to be part of an East Africa that is more inclusive and better able to support people’s mental health and wellbeing.

We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces

Learning is best accomplished in dynamic spaces where learners and facilitators meet as equals to create change. Wellness is committed to making such spaces possible for the people we come into contact with.

We do this for everyone but are especially interested in spaces for young people to take an active lead in the development of their own wellbeing.
